Diana Fast, who was set to represent Germany at the 2025 Miss Universe pageant in Thailand, has announced she will not compete in the competition.
Fast won the title of Miss Germany 2025 earlier this year. She shared her decision on social media, explaining her reasons for withdrawing from the international event.
"One of the most meaningful and empowering experiences of [my] life," she described representing Germany as Miss Germany, according to a screenshot from her Instagram Stories.
"I am endlessly grateful to be part of the Miss Universe family, surrounded by incredible women who inspire, uplift, and embody true purpose," she wrote.
However, after careful thought, Fast revealed she would not be traveling to Thailand this year.
"After deep reflection, I've decided that this year, I will not be traveling to Thailand," she stated.
Fast attributed her choice to her role as a devoted mother and the ongoing personal commitments she faces.
Diana Fast respectfully withdrew from Miss Universe 2025 to prioritize motherhood and family responsibilities over international competition.
