Carroll County Sheriff's Office Seeks Man After Incident in Green Forest

The Carroll County Sheriff's Office and Green Forest Police Department are actively searching for Brennan Badley for questioning related to a recent incident involving a police pursuit and shots fired.

Details of the Incident

On Sunday night, Green Forest police officer Thomas Blewett attempted to stop a 2011 white Ford Expedition near Carroll County 802 and North Carroll Avenue. Instead of complying, the vehicle sped away, prompting a pursuit.

During the chase, the Ford Expedition stopped, reversed, and struck the front of Officer Blewett's patrol car.

"When the Expedition stopped a second time, Blewett reported he exited his vehicle with his weapon drawn and took a cover position behind the driver door."

The vehicle then reversed again towards Officer Blewett, hitting his patrol unit. The officer fired two shots, with one round striking the rear of the Expedition.

Despite this, the Expedition continued fleeing and rammed the patrol car a third time. The pursuit ended at a residence on Carroll County 844 when the vehicle struck a pipe fence.
