The 2025-26 NBA season continues with nine Gonzaga alumni actively playing, including veteran Kelly Olynyk, who made his debut with the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday. Two more alumni, Memphis forward Brandon Clarke and Chicago center Zach Collins, have yet to appear this season due to injuries.
Rui Hachimura and Jalen Suggs have started the season impressively, while Ryan Nembhard made his NBA debut. Chet Holmgren is emerging as a strong contender for an All-Star selection.
Hachimura has averaged 16.7 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game, shooting 47.2% from three-point range across nine games with nearly 36 minutes played per night.
"The Lakers have been without LeBron James to start the season, and have only had star guard Luka Doncic for five of the team's nine games. That has allowed Hachimura to thrive in a much bigger role, and he's taken advantage with a career-high 16.7 points per game while playing nearly 36 minutes per night."
Injuries have affected several Gonzaga alumni, but key players like Hachimura and Suggs are excelling early in the 2025-26 NBA season, showing promise for standout campaigns.
