Matthew Carney, executive producer of Four Corners since 2022, has resigned.
Carney will remain in his position until a successor is appointed, according to ABC News boss Justin Stevens.
Carney has been with the ABC since 1995 and joined Four Corners as executive producer in May 2022.
The resignation is unrelated to an investigation into reporter Mahmood Fazal.

The show is currently nominated in the 2025 Walkley Awards, having won its last Gold Walkley in 2022.
