Amazon Expands Data Center Capacity
Amazon Web Services (AWS) has launched its Rainier data center in Indiana, US, to support AI startup Anthropic.
The new facility will accelerate the training of Anthropic's large language model (LLM), Claude, utilizing Amazon's proprietary Trainium chips.
The Rainier data center is Amazon's largest investment in the state, with a total funding of US$11 billion.
