Halloween in Canada
Do Canadians enjoy candy, costumes and decor on Halloween? Many Canadians get into the spooky spirit on October 31.
A poll by Narrative Research and Logit group found that younger Canadians and those with higher household incomes are more likely to celebrate Halloween.
- Half of the Canadians surveyed will be ready with candy bowls in hand on Friday night, welcoming trick-or-treaters.
- 1/4 said they’ll be suiting up in a costume to take part in the fun.
- One-third also said they’ve turned their home into a haunted haven on the outside, specifically for this spooky occasion.
Over 1200 Canadians took part in the poll that was conducted between October 7 to 9, 2025.
