A police helicopter assisted officers in locating a missing man in Nantwich during a nighttime search.
Residents reported hearing the National Police Air Service (NPAS) helicopter flying above Nantwich and Stapeley for approximately 30 minutes around midnight.
The missing man, from Wistaston, was found after a two-hour search. According to a Cheshire Police spokesperson:
“At 10.36pm on Thursday 30 October, police were called to concerns for the welfare of a man who was reported missing from the Wistaston area. Officers, with help from NPAS, located the man at around 12.40am on Friday 31 October in the Nantwich area.”
