Farmers across the UK staged protests on 31 October, including a large tractor convoy through central London, to express frustration over government policies, rising costs, and threats to British farming.
A convoy of 16 tractors and farm vehicles drove past Big Ben and other Whitehall landmarks, displaying banners calling for the abolition of inheritance tax plans and "fair prices for farmers and the public".
"We just wanted to make the government aware that farmers have not gone away."
Farmer Andy Bowes from south Bedfordshire participated in the London demonstration, highlighting the growing discontent among farmers.
