Punjab Police Bust Cross-Border Arms Smuggling Module
Punjab police claimed to have busted a cross-border arms smuggling module linked to Pakistan-based smugglers, arresting seven operatives, including a juvenile, in Amritsar.
The arrested individuals were identified as Shamsher Singh, Amandeep Singh, Balwinder Singh, Gurdev Singh, Karanpreet Singh, Harman Singh, and a 17-year-old juvenile.
According to Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav, 15 sophisticated pistols were recovered from their possession, including nine 9MM Glock pistols and six .30 bore pistols.
