505 European Championship 2025 at Club Nàutic Estartit
The International 505 Class held its European Championships in L'Estartit, Spain, for the first time, with 58 teams competing.
GBR's Roger Gilbert and Ian Mitchell won on countback from the top German team Jan-Philipp Hofmann and Felix Brockerhoff.
The event was a great success, with warm weather in late October, and a superb entry list away from the 505s traditional strongholds.
The weather was far better and warmer than a rain-lashed Northern Europe.
