Chinese sleep brand MAZZU has partnered with design studio LAYER to create a modular foam-free camping mattress system, addressing the global waste issue in the camping sector.
The MAZZU Camping Mattress is a modular sleep system designed for outdoor use, aiming to reduce waste levels in the sector. Festivals alone generate around 25,800 tonnes of waste each year, including an estimated 250,000 tents.
The need to address such alarming statistics is critical.
LAYER's design seeks to provide a sustainable solution to the environmental concerns associated with traditional camping mattresses.
