Zohran Mamdani, a New York Mayor hopeful, has shared his experience as a Muslim in a new video. He discussed what it means to be a Muslim today, describing the challenges faced by approximately 10 million Muslims living in New York.
"Treated like strangers in own country and living under constant stress and threat. Repeatedly mocked and laughed at, labeled an extremist, called a terrorist and a supporter of global Jihad."
Mamdani also recalled how his opponents mock his eating habits and Halal food. The New York Mayor election is scheduled to take place on November 4, 2025.
