Cornwall city council has invited Via Rail representatives to address the council regarding service levels and potential cuts.
The decision comes after a Via Rail pilot project was put on hold due to backlash, and Cornwall council wants to discuss the matter further.

said Claude McIntosh, recalling the last meeting with Via Rail representatives seven years ago.
He noted that they showed no interest in the city's concerns at the time.
