Prescott to Develop Prince Street Fields into Housing
The Town of Prescott plans to declare the Prince Street Fields as surplus land to develop housing on the property.
At a recent meeting, Prescott council voted to notify the public of its intention to declare the field as surplus land for a housing development.
“Part of our strategic plan is to create more housing, as there is a definite need for more housing,”
said Prescott Mayor Gauri Shankar. The property is in a prime location and would be ideal for more housing. This plan emerged after a developer inquired about developing the Prince Street Fields.
