Thanksgiving Day in Saskatoon: What's Open and Closed
On Thanksgiving Day, which Canada marks on Monday, various city services and facilities in Saskatoon will have altered hours or be closed.
Transit Services
Transit will operate on its holiday service schedule from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., with normal fare rates applying. However, Access Transit will use holiday hours from 8 a.m., and OnDemand service will not be available.
City Facilities and Services
- City Hall will be closed.
- Pay parking will not be in effect.
- Saskatoon Public Library branches will be closed.
- The Remai Modern gallery will be closed.
- The Transit Customer Service Centre will be closed for walk-ins, but phone lines will be open from 9 a.m.
Waste Collection and Recycling
Waste collection will continue as scheduled without interruption. Both the landfill and Material Recovery Centre will be open from 8 a.m.
Parks and Recreation
The city compost depot will operate from 9 a.m., and the Forestry Farm Park & Zoo will be open to the public from 10 a.m.
No interruption to waste collection.
