A court case targeting Saskatchewan's approach to greenhouse gas emissions and plans to build new gas-fired power plants has ended.
The legal claim, brought by individuals and Climate Justice Saskatoon, was filed against the Saskatchewan government, SaskPower, and the Crown Investments Corporation.

Court of King's Bench Justice Holli Kuski Bassett made the decision, meaning the case cannot proceed.
The claim was filed in Spring 2023, with arguments heard in October 2024 on the government's application to have the case thrown out.
