Carlton Crusaders Secure Spot in Provincials

The Carlton Crusaders girls' soccer team has earned a spot in the provincials in Saskatoon with a 1-0 win over North Battleford Comprehensive.

Head Coach Jahnaya Saufert praised her team's strong defense and perseverance, saying

"We had some shots on net that unfortunately hit the crossbar or just missed, but they worked well together. They're good at talking and communicating out there."

Casey Miller scored the lone goal for the Crusaders, who created numerous opportunities but struggled with the woodwork. Miller credited her teammates' mental toughness against a strong opponent, saying

"I think we did pretty good, honestly, especially considering we haven’t played this team yet."
