MOT Roadshow for Drivers Over 60
A roadshow at the Gyle Shopping Centre aims to help drivers check their fitness to drive.
People over 60 are invited to learn about the importance of:
- eye examinations
- reducing night time driving
- avoiding busy junctions at peak hours
- refreshing driving skills with a "mature driving review"
The session is backed by The Scottish Government and Road Safety Scotland, offering a driver MOT to help drivers stay safe on the roads.
With over 850,000 drivers in Scotland in this age group, they are encouraged to take simple practical steps to address any age-related changes.
The roadshow takes place from 23 to 24 October 2025.
