A "No Kings" rally was held in Juneau, with over 1,500 participants joining millions nationwide to protest against President Donald Trump's policies and actions.
The event was part of a larger movement, with more than 2,500 events held across the country, including over a dozen in Alaska communities.
The protest featured songs, chants, and speeches, with demonstrators expressing their opposition to the Trump administration and the president's behavior.
"These protests are for them, these protests are for us,"
said Gina Chalcroft, an organizer with Juneau Indivisible.
The protesters feel that Trump's actions resemble those of a monarch, prompting the "No Kings" rally to push back against his policies.
