Gaza Ceasefire Under Threat
A fragile ceasefire in Gaza is on the verge of collapse after Israel launched fresh airstrikes, closing crossings and leaving at least 51 Palestinians dead.
The escalation follows a "blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement" by Hamas, according to the Israel Defense Forces, which accused Hamas fighters of killing two Israeli occupation troops and wounding three others in Rafah.
The Israel Defense Forces said it has "now begun a wave of strikes" in southern Gaza.
