Man Accused of $300k Court Sprinkler Damage
A man is set to appear in court at the end of October, accused of causing $300,000 in damage to the sprinkler system at the Kern County Superior Court building.
The incident, which occurred last month, led to significant flooding in nearby offices and courtrooms, according to the Kern County District Attorney.
- The accused, identified as Chuck Dooley, faces multiple charges, including:
- Alleged violations of Health and Safety Code Section 11395, related to unlawful possession of hard drugs with two or more prior convictions
- Several felony vandalism charges
