A verbal argument between 38-year-old Zachary Gibbs and his 22-year-old stepson, Cory Andrew Cetrullo, led to the arrest of both individuals.
According to the Lady Lake Police Department, officers responded to the incident at 10:05 p.m. on Sunday at the home of Gibbs and his wife, who is Cetrullo's mother.
During the investigation, it was revealed that Gibbs had battered his wife of 15 years the night before, pinning her to the couch and putting his hands on her face, neck, and upper torso.
Gibbs admitted to the incident, stating he did something he should not have and "put hands" on her.
