Israel and Hamas Accept Part of Trump Peace Plan
A recent development in the Middle East peace process began when photographer Evan Vucci noticed Senator Marco Rubio passing a note to President Donald Trump during a roundtable event.
The note, written on White House stationery, read:
This prompted Trump to announce that a deal in the Middle East was close. An hour later, news broke that Israel and Hamas had agreed to the "first phase" of the peace plan, which includes a pause in fighting and the release of hostages, prisoners, and detainees.
