Farnham Society Supports Campaign for The Woolmead Development
The Farnham Society has publicly backed the campaign to develop The Woolmead site.
At their inaugural meeting, President Right Reverend Dr Christopher Herbert outlined his vision for Farnham's future, which included discussion on The Woolmead and Brightwells Yard.
“If our MP Greg Stafford is to be believed that he has received little to no response from Homes England, then I think that is unacceptable. The CEO of Homes England ought to come down to Farnham to see the eyesore that has affected the town for so many years.”
The Farnham Society, a civic group focused on preserving and enhancing the town's character, has long been involved in local planning issues and is now fully behind the campaign for progress at The Woolmead.
