The West Virginia Wesleyan Lady Bobcats delivered a complete performance, shutting out Wheeling 3–0 at Bishop Schmitt Field.
Three different Lady Bobcats scored, and senior goalkeeper Maite Coutinho secured a clean sheet. Wesleyan controlled the tempo, generating pressure through midfielders Isabella Mazza and Sofia Avila.
The breakthrough came in the 40th minute when defender Tessa Grisez finished a service from Carlie Ice inside the box.
