Duke University and Duke University Health System have been listed by Forbes among 600 employers for creating a culture of fairness, inclusivity, and opportunity.
Duke University Health System is ranked No. 192, and Duke University is also recognized. The list, published by Forbes and the market research firm Statista, is based on survey responses from over 218,000 workers at organizations with more than 1,000 employees.
“As we all work toward our competing priorities of advancing our academic mission, caring for our patients and serving our community, to hear that our culture is one that people want to be part of is very encouraging,” said Antwan Lofton, Vice President for Duke Human Resources. “We work across our enterprise to keep our lines of communication open and listen to our employees so they know that they are valued.”
