Upgrade for Endoscopic Ultrasound
Fujifilm Healthcare Europe announces the release of a new upgrade for its diagnostic ultrasound system Arietta 850 FF Endo.
The upgrade enables Attenuation Measurement (iATT) and 2D Shear Wave Elastography (SWE) compatibility for the linear curved array Fujifilm EG-740UT ultrasonic endoscope.
Shear wave elastography (SWE) has gained an important role in the diagnosis and management of patients with chronic liver disease (CLD),
according to a recent publication of the World Federation for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology (WFUMB).
The new software version 7.2 is now available in Europe as part of the company's 'Welcome, Future' initiative.
This release enables gastroenterologists to perform EUS-guided Liver Attenuation Measurement (iATT) and 2D Shear Wave Elastography (SWE).
