Investigators are probing the final 72 hours of pilot Andrew Connor's life before the Shellharbour Airport crash.

Andrew Connor, his wife Julieanne Connors, and their friend Colin McLaughlin died in the crash on October 11. They were headed to the NSW Central West for the Bathurst 1000 car race when the light aircraft crashed and burst into flames seconds after takeoff.
