Charitable Pumpkin Fundraiser
The second annual Charitable Pumpkin fundraiser will take place on Saturday at Bramblitt's Yellow Dog Art Bar from 5 to 8 p.m.
Fifty local artists were given ceramic pumpkins to decorate for the event, which will feature live music, pumpkin carving, and an auction.
"We've distributed 50 ceramic pumpkins to local artists in Denton," event producer Marko Coady said. "Those artists range from well-established artists to college students to high school students and everything in between.
The event was created by Greg and Suzanne Hayes and their daughter, artist Dani Hayes, to benefit Court Appointed Special Advocates of Denton County.
The artists' names will not be revealed until winners have been chosen to keep bias out of the judging process.
