County judge/execs, mayors, superintendents ask state to fund Pre-K For All

County Leaders Endorse Pre-K for All Initiative

County judge/executives, mayors, and the Kentucky Association of School Superintendents (KASS) have endorsed Gov. Andy Beshear's Pre-K for All initiative.

A total of 63 county judge/executives and 31 mayors signed letters urging the Kentucky General Assembly to prioritize expanding access to pre-K for all 4-year-olds in the 2026 Budget Session.

Our counties and families cannot wait. We urge the General Assembly to make expanding pre-K access for all Kentucky 4-year-olds a top priority in the 2026 Budget Session. Together we can support our working families and build our communities.

The endorsements were made through three letters delivered to members of the Kentucky General Assembly.
