Nacra 17 Worlds 2025: Title for Gimson & Burnet

The last day of the 2025 Nacra 17 Worlds at Cagliari featured a thrilling live stream with drones and following cameras capturing the action at full speed upwind.
The new format, similar to Sail GP, consisted of a final race between the top 4 teams, which were determined after the top ten Medal Race. This format led to a less dynamic and more predictable scenario, with only 4 boats on the course.
The British and Italian teams engaged in a fierce battle, but the reduced number of boats limited the possibilities for tight fights and different outcomes.
The dynamic turmoil of the last fleet race was gone with only 4 races on the course.
