A special screening of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" was held at the Art Theatre of Long Beach on September 26 to celebrate the film's 50th anniversary.
"Life changing," "gay Frankenstein," "punk vaudeville" and "sensory overload"
are some of the phrases used to describe the show. Indiana Jones, who played Dr. Frank-N-Furter's creation Rocky, said:
"It's an impossible thing to explain to people. It is the only thing like it, and it's crazy that it's been going on for 50 years now."
After the show, it was clear that the audience didn't just watch "Rocky," they experienced it.
