"I'm looking better than I did before,"
said Laila from her hospital bed, despite suffering multiple injuries to her vertebrae, sternum, ribs, and nose. The incident occurred when a 20-year-old woman, who is facing charges, crashed into Laila's bedroom while she was sleeping, throwing her bed into the front yard.
Laila spoke to FOX 2 about her recovery, smiling through the cuts and bruises on her face.
