Opera Gala to Celebrate Waverley Singers' Platinum Jubilee
The Waverley Singers will mark their platinum jubilee with an opera gala concert at the Farnham Maltings on October 26 at 6pm.
Conducted by Richard Pearce, the concert will feature soprano Nina Bennet, tenor Robin Bailey, and pianist Jakob Rothoff. The programme includes works by Verdi, Borodin, Purcell, Puccini, and Chaminade.

- Polovtsian Dances from Borodin’s Prince Igor
- Purcell’s Dido’s Lament and Final Chorus from Dido and Aeneas

- Verdi’s Mercé Dilette Amiche from the Sicilian Vespers
- Chaminade’s Automne
A retiring collection will be held for Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care.
