Former Referee David Coote Admits to Making Indecent Child Image
Former Premier League referee David Coote has admitted to making an indecent image of a child.
Coote, 43, initially denied the charge during a hearing at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on September 11, but changed his plea to guilty at Nottingham Crown Court on October 14.
"You have pleaded guilty to a serious matter.
Coote was charged on August 12 with making the indecent Category A image on January 2, 2020, as part of an investigation by Nottinghamshire Police related to a video file recovered in February 2025.
