Pride Park Stadium hosted England Under-21s’ UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying match against Andorra on Monday night.
The Under-21s, managed by former Ram Lee Carsley, played their first fixture since winning the 2025 UEFA European Under-21 Championship in July, having also won the competition in 2023.
A dominant England won with Tyrique George’s close-range strike in the 40th minute, claiming the win in front of a crowd of nearly 10,000.
This match was the seventh time Pride Park hosted an England Under-21s fixture, with the most recent match coming in March 2014 against Wales.
