Minnesota has reported two more measles cases, bringing the total to 20, with 18 of the cases being in children.
According to the Minnesota Department of Health, 15 of the cases were from exposures within the United States, 4 were imported, and 1 has an unknown exposure.
In contrast to last year's 70 cases, there were no measles cases reported in Minnesota in 2023.
A large ongoing measles outbreak in Mexico has resulted in 22 deaths, with 4,879 confirmed cases through October 11.
The majority of the cases in Mexico, 4,380 (90%), were reported in Chihuahua state.
