Starting March 2026, Jetstar will operate flights from the Sunshine Coast to Denpasar three times a week using its A321neo LR fleet. This service adds over 70,000 seats annually and includes onward connections to Singapore.
Jetstar is introducing a new route from the Sunshine Coast to Singapore via Bali. Stephanie Tully, Jetstar’s chief executive, stated:
“We’re proud to be the first airline to connect the Sunshine Coast to Bali and Singapore. It’s a great win for travellers wanting an easy international getaway.”
She emphasized that direct flights to Bali allow travellers to skip lengthy road trips to Brisbane, gaining more time to enjoy the island’s unique appeal.
“Jetstar is proud to be the largest carrier operating in South-East Queensland and we’re excited to continue expanding our network to meet strong low fares demand.”
Chris Mills, CEO of Sunshine Coast Airport, described the new service as a “game changer” for the region:
“For the first time, locals can fly direct to Bali for an island holiday. Our research shows that this is a highly sought after destination for locals.”
He added that after a brief stop in Bali, flights will continue onwards to Singapore, a major international hub.
Jetstar’s new direct flights from the Sunshine Coast to Bali and connecting to Singapore will provide convenient, affordable international travel, boosting tourism and regional connectivity.
