Monique Fitzgerald, who purchased Dina Broadhurst's former Darling Point garden apartment with her husband Michael in June, has opened up about why they decided to relist the property just months later. The couple bought the three-bedroom harbourside residence for an estimated $8 million.
According to Fitzgerald, their decision to sell was not driven by regret but by an opportunity to benefit from Sydney’s strong property market, as their move to the city has been postponed.
"We absolutely love this property – it's truly exquisite, and Etham Avenue has always been one of our favourite streets in Darling Point," said Mrs Fitzgerald. "We've decided to sell purely because the timing of our relocation has shifted, and we wanted to take advantage of the current strength in the market. The level of interest has already exceeded our expectations."
The couple’s swift resale follows growing demand for luxury properties in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, which continue to attract high-end buyers despite market fluctuations.
Monique Fitzgerald lists Dina Broadhurst’s former $8 million Darling Point apartment again, citing a change in relocation timing and rising market demand as key reasons.
