This is the third watch in the series of mysterious gemstone-clad Franck Muller timepieces, named the Round Triple Mystery. We had the chance to handle the watch during a press event in Singapore.
Each subset of four watches features diamonds combined with either diamond, emerald, ruby, or blue sapphire stones. The only distinction between them lies in the type of diamond cut on the bezel.
The case diameter measures 39mm and comes in either rose gold or white gold.
This third installment in the Round Mystery saga introduces all three time indicators at once. The first model featured only an hour hand mounted on a rotating disc. The second included both hour and minute hands on two rotating discs. Now, the new watch displays hours, minutes, and seconds using three rotating discs.
"The seconds hand is skeletonised with a floral motif, designed to be very light. The entire structure weighs just 0.0052g, with the arrow indicator at 0.002g, the diamond at 0.003g, and the skeleton pastille at 0.047g."
This delicate design ensures precision and elegance in the seconds indicator.
The Franck Muller Round Triple Mystery impresses with its intricate use of gemstones, precise multi-disc time display, and exquisite craftsmanship in both rose and white gold cases.
This watch artfully combines complex mechanical innovation with luxurious gemstone detailing, elevating the mystery theme to a new level of sophistication.
