Thousands of gamers faced login issues with EA Sports FC 26 early on Friday morning. The developers have issued a statement clarifying the reasons behind the outage.
Just hours before the launch of the much-anticipated UEFA Primetime promo, EA Sports FC 26 servers went offline, preventing players from accessing Ultimate Team, Pro Clubs, and other online modes.
According to Down Detector, reports of server problems began around 6:17am GMT on Friday, November 7, with issues intensifying shortly after 9am GMT.
EA servers are down today on FC26! That ruins the stream for this morning so going to do it in the afternoon instead!

EA clarified there was no technical malfunction. Instead, the servers were taken offline to perform necessary maintenance.
In an official X statement, EA Sports FC Direct Communication announced:
We have a maintenance coming up.
During this time, you will be disconnected or unable to access online services. Match creation will be disabled 30 minutes before maintenance.
Titles impacted: EA Sports FC 26, EA Sports FC 25 and EA Sports FC 24 on all platforms.
The temporary server downtime is planned maintenance to enhance service reliability across multiple EA Sports FC titles.
