Alan Carr, known for his role on Celebrity Traitors, is attracting even more attention after being "poached" by the BBC for a new television format. The 49-year-old comedian, who also stars in his own ITV sitcom Changing Ends, is reportedly set to lead a new prime-time quiz show featuring celebrity guests.
According to The Sun, Alan was flown abroad last week to film a pilot episode in an upscale European city. This move follows rumors of a fresh TV deal for Carr, coming eight years after his Channel 4 chat show Chatty Man ended.
The deal is expected to put Alan in competition with his Celebrity Traitors co-star Jonathan Ross, who recently renewed his contract with ITV for The Jonathan Ross Show.
"Unquestionably, Alan is the hottest man on TV right now. Everyone wants a piece of him. But the BBC have acted quickly and last week he was jetted out to a swanky European city for a day of filming a pilot."
Alan Carr's career continues to rise as the BBC secures him for a new celebrity quiz show, marking a significant return to prime-time television.
