Netflix is expanding the Stranger Things universe with a new animated spinoff titled Stranger Things: Tales From '85, set to premiere in 2026. The series is positioned between Seasons 2 and 3 of the original supernatural drama, taking place during a cold winter in Hawkins in 1985.
Plot and Setting
The story follows Eleven, Mike, Max, Lucas, Dustin, Will, and Hopper as they investigate a paranormal mystery. The setting captures the show's iconic 1980s atmosphere with a fresh animated approach.
Creative Team
The series is developed by showrunner Eric Robles alongside Stranger Things co-creators Matt and Ross Duffer. Ross Duffer comments on the creative freedom animation provides:
