Former NFL star Antonio Brown was extradited from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to the United States to face trial for an attempted murder related to a shooting in May, Miami police confirmed on Thursday.
Brown, 37, is currently held in Essex County, New Jersey, awaiting transfer to Miami-Dade County for trial. The exact time of his apprehension and transport to Miami remains unclear.

The case involves an attempted murder charge arising from an altercation on May 16 at a boxing event organized by influencer Adin Ross. Brown, originally from Miami, had been in Dubai for several months, as shown by his Instagram posts.
Following the issuance of an arrest warrant in June, Brown was represented by an attorney who arranged a $10,000 bond and house arrest. However, Brown never surrendered himself, leaving police to pursue extradition.
