Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo will host a two-hour musical special titled The Wonderful Witches of Oz to celebrate Wicked. This event comes just two weeks before the theatrical release of the film's second part, Wicked: For Good, offering fans an early musical treat.
The NBC broadcast Wicked: One Wonderful Night includes performances by Grande and Erivo, supported by a 37-piece live orchestra and full-scale ensemble dance numbers. The trailer shows Grande's famous Glinda hair toss, a live performance of "What Is This Feeling?" and the duet "For Good" celebrating friendship.
Jeff Goldblum, who plays the Wizard, even played the keys at the made-for-TV special.
The special was recorded live in October at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles with an audience. It will air exclusively on NBC on Thursday at 8 p.m. and will be available for streaming on Peacock the following day, Friday, November 7.
