Motorists in Leeds will face disruptions due to roadworks affecting key routes.
A64 Flyover and Surrounding Areas
Roadworks on the A64 Flyover, New York Road, and Marsh Lane slip road begin on Monday, November 3, from 7pm to 6am. Bus service 7 (THE) heading towards Leeds Bus Station will be diverted via Marsh Lane and York Street. Additional disruptions at Dawsons Corner and Stanningley Bypass will persist until May 2026. The closure of the Wide Lane slip road in Morley has been extended by 12 weeks, remaining in effect until Sunday, November 30. Bus services 65, 200 and 201 will follow diversions during this time.
Road Reopenings
Station Road in Kippax has reopened following roadworks. The closure on Branch Road, Lower Wortley, is expected to end on Friday, November 7.
