Orenthal James "O.J." Simpson, former football star, is set to have a parole hearing in July, according to the Nevada Department of Corrections (NDOC). Although the exact date has not been determined, it is confirmed the hearing will occur sometime in July.
Simpson has been serving a 33-year sentence since 2007 at the Lovelock Correctional Center in northeastern Nevada for kidnapping, robbery, and assault with a deadly weapon.
Simpson was acquitted of the 1994 murders of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ronald Goldman. They were found stabbed to death at Nicole Brown Simpson’s home on June 13, 1994.
If granted parole, Simpson would be released in October.
