The Los Angeles Dodgers are seen as front-runners to sign Bo Bichette as MLB free agency begins, pursuing a potential third consecutive World Series title. Despite winning back-to-back championships, the Dodgers appear intent on adding even more star talent to their roster.
According to The Sporting Tribune, Los Angeles holds +250 odds to sign the Toronto Blue Jays shortstop and two-time Silver Slugger. The team’s ambition extends beyond recent triumphs, signaling a quest for a long-lasting dynasty.
“Don’t be surprised if the Dodgers go big again,” an MLB insider told The Sporting Tribune. “They’ve made it clear they’re not satisfied with just two titles. They want to build a dynasty.”
The same report indicates that L.A. is also interested in Kyle Tucker and Alex Bregman, suggesting an aggressive approach this offseason.
“Los Angeles isn’t waiting for the market to come to them,” oddsmaker Dave Mason said. “They’re leading it.”
Bichette, who has maintained a .303 batting average with 69 home runs over the past three seasons, matches the Dodgers’ preference for durable, high-contact hitters who perform under pressure.
“He’s the kind of player who changes a lineup overnight,” an AL scout told The Sporting Tribune. “If the Dodgers get him, it’s over. They’ll be even more balanced and dangerous.”
Even rival executives expect another bold move from president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman, whose aggressive strategy continues to redefine the team’s competitiveness.
The Dodgers, already MLB champions twice in a row, may target Bo Bichette to cement their dynasty, signaling another daring offseason under Andrew Friedman’s leadership.
