The Ingham County Clerk website announced early Wednesday morning that former candidates Steve Whelan and Chuck Grigsby were elected to the East Lansing City Council. Whelan secured 22.36% of the vote, receiving 2,609 votes across all precincts. Grigsby closely followed with 20.01%, earning 2,335 votes.
