LAS CRUCES — The four individuals charged with murder and conspiracy in connection to the March shootout at Young Park will face separate trials in 2026, as expected.

The defendants:

Each defendant's attorney informed state District Judge Douglas Driggers last week that they intend to request individual jury trials. District Attorney Fernando Macias stated he will not oppose these motions.
